Presents

This an ink and water colour drawing I did for my friend a few weeks ago. Was really happy with the result and think she liked it a swell which was nice. I posted this on my art instagram (@artbyghayes). I haven't been able to do much recently as I have been in the school musical and I have just had my wisdom teeth removed so I am out for the rest of the week.

Mermaids

This drawing was relatively quick as it only took me about an hour to complete. I deliberately made the face distorted as I liked the idea of having the mermaid slightly disfigured.  

Lightbulbs

This was a relatively quick drawing I did last night. I started it in my art class and then finished it a few hours later. In total it took around three hours. I was quite happy with the result and posted a progress photo to my new instagram (@artbyghayes)

Market Adventures

I finally went to the market on Saturday which i was really excited about. I set up a little stall at St Andrews and was freezing for hours but it was worth it because I sold some artwork and got alot of experience and learned about a few more markets i am going to go to when it gets a bit warmer. I want to go again but I am going to get some new print made and I will be posting photos of the ones I will be selling.
I have just created an instagram for my art and it is called @artbyghayes and i will be posting a mix of photos on this website and some upcoming projects. 

Kahl Drogo

Thought I would post this as I haven't posted too much in a while. I have been working on Kahl Drogo from game of thrones in my art class and this is where I currently am at. I have been working on this for a lot of term 2 but next week I am starting a painting in art as I wanted to do something different. I am quite happy with how its going as I have never drawn a body before that is supposed to be accurate. There is still quite a way to go in this but I look forward to finishing it. 

City Cranes

Was quite happy with this drawing and actually finished not too long ago. I bought my first set of water colour paints today and was quite excited. When I got home I spent the next hour or so experimenting,
On Monday I will be making some prints to sell at St. Andrews market in a few weeks and I am really excited.

Peace

This is one I did a while ago, I think it was around the same time as the swan I drew. This didn't take too long and was happy with the out come for a little doodle.

I have bought the rights to this website and am setting it up  currently am I am very excited about it.
